About Spain

Getting to Spain

 

Spain is easily accessible for international passengers with a wide variety of gateways to and from most destinations across the globe. Madrid and Barcelona are the most popular entrance points for Spain, however several other cities around the country feature international flights across Europe and further afield. Spain can also be reached by Sea, with ferry links from coastal cities such as Bilbao and Santander to the U.K and North Africa. International Train services link Spain to France, Portugal and further afield.

 

Once you arrive in Spain, you’ll find getting around its major cities, as well as travelling around the country itself, to be relatively painless and cost efficient. Spain’s major cities feature efficient public transportation networks with bus, metro and commuter rail components, while visitors can travel across Spain by High Speed rail or long range bus, with several domestic air routes also on offer.
